About our beneficiary:
Each year The Leaps for Lives Dance Showcase chooses a beneficiary that represents an area of animal welfare. We strive to choose beneficiaries that address community issues, especially those that affect marginalized and underserved areas. This year’s beneficiary is The Friends of Pima Animal Care Center (PACC.) Proceeds from the show will be donated directly to The Friends of PACC’s Keeping Families Together Fund. This fund prevents thousands of pets from coming into the shelter every year due to medical needs that are cost-prohibitive for families and the provision of supplies. We are dedicated to the art of dance and the power of community. We offer a welcoming space for dancers regardless of background or experience. Through our inclusive programs and productions we raise funding and awareness for Southern Arizona animal rescues and pediatric cancer organizations.
About Us:
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations. We are proud to have made thousands of dollars in contributions to these organizations in our first seven years!
