The Leaps for Lives Dance Company invites you to the 8th annual Leaps for Lives Dance Showcase to benefit Tucson Wildlife Center. This year’s Leaps for Lives Dance Showcase will not take place as the exciting in-person event we look forward to each year. Instead, we will host an engaging virtual performance that supports and promotes local artists and local businesses. This event will be live streamed at 6:00pm on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.
Tickets: Suggested donation of $5. Every ticket purchased results in one raffle entry to support Tucson businesses.
About our beneficiary:
The Tucson Wildlife Center has been dedicated to the rescue, emergency medical care, and rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife since 1998. The goal of this organization is to reintroduce animals in their care back in to the wild. Additionally, the Tucson Wildlife Center promotes education, habitat protection, and coexistence with wildlife. Their role in our community has been vital this year in response to thousands of wild animals displaced and injured due to The Bighorn Fire. Leaps for Lives traditionally supports a domesticated animal rescue with the Leaps for Lives Dance Showcase. However, 100% of this year’s proceeds will be donated to the Tucson Wildlife Center to best support the needs of our community during a uniquely difficult time.
About The Leaps for Lives Dance Company:
We are dedicated to the art of dance and the power of community. We offer a welcoming space for dancers regardless of background or experience. Through our inclusive programs and productions we raise funding and awareness for Southern Arizona animal rescues and pediatric cancer organizations.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations. We are proud to have made thousands of dollars in contributions to these organizations in our first seven years!
Support for the project is provided by The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, funded by the City of Tucson and Pima County.
