The Leaps for Lives Dance Company invites you to the 3rd annual Leaps for Lives Spring Show to benefit Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation Of Southern Arizona. This year’s Leaps for Lives Spring Show will not be staged in a theater. Instead, we will host this evening of choreographic exploration via live stream at 7:00pm on Saturday, April 17th, 2021.
Tickets: Suggested donation of $5.
About our beneficiary:
Candlelighters supports, serves and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.
Candlelighters currently serves approximately 300-450 children and family members annually. In Southern Arizona about 70 children a year are diagnosed with cancer, and treatment lasts an average of 2 ½ years. For many children, the long term effects remain for a life time and navigating a new normal in school is very difficult. School advocacy is an area for which we provide numerous resources.

We are dedicated to the art of dance and the power of community. We offer a welcoming space for dancers regardless of background or experience. Through our inclusive programs and productions we raise funding and awareness for Southern Arizona animal rescues and pediatric cancer organizations.
About Us:
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Tucson, Arizona. We work with other community dance projects to create a diverse and exciting annual dance showcase benefiting Southern Arizona animal rescues. In 2019, we premiered The Leaps for Lives Annual Spring Show which allowed us greater opportunity to do more good for Southern Arizona animal rescue organizations and pediatric cancer research organizations. We are proud to have made thousands of dollars in contributions to these organizations in our first seven years!
